CAPITA DARK HORSE SNOWBOARD 2027

The Dark Horse is the CAPiTA team-favourite, wallet friendly series that crushes park jumps, side hits, and freestyle features. Pared down with only technical components you need in an array of standard and wide sizes – Dark Horse leverages its dynamic design to deliver maximum power and performance.

The Dark Horse maximizes the power potential of a lightweight and energetic board in a budget friendly contruction. It delivers the pop and power, demanded by progressive freestyle riders through with its tried and trusted combination of Dual Core™ and Special Blend Fiberglass further enhanced with 2 x 30 mm Carbon Aramid Boosters.

Details

• Flex: Twin Flex - 6 Medium (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)
• Shape: True Twin
• Sidecut: Radial
• Camber: PARK V1 - The PARK V1 camber configuration zeros out a traditional camber approach 4 cm before the end of the sidecut. The small zero camber sections provide a more controlled ride while retaining the response and power of a cambered board.
• Core: DUAL CORE™ - Poppy lightweight Poplar core combined with Beech for increased power and durability.
• Glass + Resin: HOLYSHEET™ TRI/BI MAGIC BEAN™ RESIN - HOLYSHEET™ Fiberglass configuration features fiber weaves with a high tensile strength and low modulus of elasticity. With a higher roving count in the same weight of glass, you can have a stronger and more responsive board without adding extra weight.
• Topsheet Technology: Pearlescent Screen + Gloss/Matte Print
• Additives:  2 x 30 mm CARBON ARAMID BOOSTERS - Known for its rigidity, high-tensile strength, low weight, high-temperature tolerance, and low thermal expansion, Carbon Fiber is one of the most popular materials used in today’s high-performance applications. We increase power and response on a wide range of models by integrating different adaptations of carbon fiber thickness, width, weight, or weave while ensuring our boards remain ultralight.
• Base: SUPERDRIVE™ BASE - The SUPERDRIVE™ base material lives in the Sintruded category of boards that deliver benefits of both sintered and extruded bases. These bases take the characteristics and manufacturing techniques used in creating extruded base material, but due to higher pressure and temperature, increase the surface hardness to levels near most sintered bases. This expands the durability and surface strength, creating a base that will be more durable when jibbing and ripping around the mountain while retaining a low maintenance and carefree lifespan of the board.
