The unisex Moderator is your new quiver killer. Truly one board for everything. A medium (some might even say moderate) flex with a Tapered Directional Extra Camber profile, this board is built for smooth turns and pop while having just enough rise in the nose to float on those deeper days. No need to swap out decks or change your stance depending on conditions. The Moderator should be ridden in a standard length, no downsize needed. The Tapered Linear Quadratic Sidecut is designed for smooth turn initiation and powerful grip without washing out. The Moderator features our Slim Wall construction, where a urethane layer runs along the edge of the board to increase flex and damping to create a board that is at home anywhere on the mountain. This is a premium all-mountain board and features RIDE's Performance™ Light Core, Carbon Array™ 3, Sintered Stone Ground Base, and bio-resin. The Moderator will take you anywhere you want to go.

Technology

• Extra Camber: More camber! A higher rise camber that gives the board a snappy, lively, and responsive feel.
• Directional: Designed to be ridden in one direction. More nose than tail, set back stance, and a sidecut to match. Can you still ride it switch? Yeah, of course. Is it going to be as good riding switch all day long? Probably not.
• Linear Quadratic: A directional sidecut utilizing Quadratic curvature from the tip to the rear insert pack, then progressing into a linear section into the tail. This creates smooth catch-free turn initiation and powerful support through the turn exit without losing grip.
• Slim Walls: RIDE's Slim Wall technology is the evolution of our Roll-in Construction to its extreme limit. By creating a fully 3-D composite structure over Slimewall® material, this revolutionary technology results in more efficient energy transfer, lighter weight construction, and even better damping.
• Single Impact Plates: Added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most. Offered in two levels, Single and Double.
• Carbon Array™ 3: This power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location. Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and all pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control.
• Hybrid Glass: Triaxial on top, biaxial on base; balanced torsional flex and stiffness for better response with speed.
• Pre-Cured Glass: USA-made pre-cured fiberglass optimizes glass to resin ratios to create the most consistent flex pattern possible. No other glass provides this level of stability and control.
• Sintered 4000 Base: High-end sintered 4000 Ptex base material that is more durable, harder and faster than extruded.
• Stone Ground: The absolute best way to finish building a snowboard. Nice and flat base, no weird bumps or extra material. Stone ground is the way to go, ask your local tune shop.
• Performance Light: Specially formulated for the women’s line, this core combines lightweight Paulownia wood stringers with high strength Aspen.
• Standard: Durable Urethane topsheet material with graphics only RIDE can bring you.
• Bio Resin: RIDE's plant based Bio Resin is one of the biggest impacts for sustainability. By using a Bio based resin instead of a traditional epoxy to assemble boards, we’re able to drastically reduce our carbon emissions while using less toxic chemicals. Win-win for everyone.
• Wend® Meadowfoam Biodegradable Wax: The Meadowfoam® factory wax we use is made from wildflower seeds native to California and Oregon. All WEND® Meadowfoam® snow wax blends are non-toxic and completely biodegradable.
• 30% Recycled Steel Edges: Edges on RIDE Snowboards contain 30% recycled materials. That means part of your snowboard could be made out of a car, an airplane, a building, who knows. Anything steel and recycled could turn into a snowboard edge.
