The 2001 season was a turning point for 686 and snowboarding in general. Founder, Michael Akira West had begun spending more time in the bigger mountains of Utah and BC and decided to design what the factory would call, "The most complex jacket they'd ever produced." Muted colour blocking, lanyard inspired trims, the Transfer is a true classic that stands up today.
