Details
- Tracker4 (T4) Avalanche Transceiver: At the heart of this package is the legendary Tracker4 beacon, which continues BC´s legacy of "simplicity is fast." It boasts an ergonomic, bombproof case and a large, bright LED display that is easy to read in all conditions. The T4’s lightning-fast processor and straightforward interface mean there is no-nonsense operation during a stressful event. Key features like Signal Suppression and Big Picture modes allow you to streamline complex, multiple-burial searches by providing a real-time overview of all transmitting signals and allowing you to focus on one at a time. The multiple burial indicator light and intuitive distance/direction readings guide you directly to your target, making it an ideal choice for both seasoned veterans and those new to the backcountry.
- Dozer 1T Shovel: When it comes to the strategic shoveling required in a rescue, the Dozer 1T is your workhorse. It features an extendable shaft and an ergonomic T-grip handle, providing maximum leverage and comfort while digging. The shovel´s blade is engineered for exceptional strength and efficiency, allowing you to break up and move dense avalanche debris with less effort. Its packable design ensures it fits easily into any backcountry pack without adding excessive bulk, yet it deploys quickly to become a formidable digging tool. The flat "stomp edge" on the blade allows you to apply body weight to penetrate hard snow, a critical feature in consolidated debris.
- Stealth 270 Avalanche Probe: Completing the rescue trio, the Stealth 270 probe is designed for rapid deployment. The Quick-Lock hardware allows the probe to be assembled in seconds, with no loose cables to cause fumbling or delays. At 270 cm, it provides ample length for most snowpack depths in North America and Europe. Laser-etched depth markings are clearly visible on the shaft, giving the rescuer critical burial depth information to inform their shoveling strategy. Its durable construction ensures it can withstand the force of probing through firm snow and ice without bending or breaking.
