Product Details
The Ride Smokescreen Snowboard brings big-mountain vibes to everyday riders, blending high-end freeride tech with a more approachable feel and price. Its tapered directional shape draws inspiration from Ride’s most aggressive boards, but with a more forgiving flex that’s ready for side hits, tree runs, and pow stashes alike. Loaded with a camber-dominant profile, carbon reinforcements, and a fast sintered base, the Smokescreen is anything but watered down — it’s your ticket to stepping up and charging harder.
Details
- Directional Standard Camber: A directional shape with a hybrid profile that has more camber than rocker.
- Medium Response Flex
- Tapered Elliptical Progressive Sidecut: Designed exclusively for the Commissioner, this sidecut combines tight elliptical curvature at the tip and tail to provide low-speed initiation and response with a larger radial section between the feet for high-speed stability and tracking.
- Performance™ Core: High strength Aspen is combined with Bamboo and lightweight Paulownia wood to provide the perfect balance of strong and light.
- Double Impact Plates: Urethane weaves added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most. Offered in two levels, Single and Double.
- Slimewalls®: RIDE’s exclusive Slimewalls® are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls® smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may ride on. On top of all that, these babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.
- Sintered, Stone Ground Base: High-end sintered 4000 Ptex base material that is more durable, harder and faster than extruded.
- Binding Compatibility: 2 x 4 Inserts
